The resulting product is a premium-grade Rockwool with an impressively low rock content of just 5%. This manufacturing process ensures that Rockwool maintains a low density, allowing it to provide exceptional capillary action for plant roots while retaining an ideal level of moisture for healthy growth.

One of Rockwool's key attributes is its inert nature, making it an ideal choice for hydroponic growers. It neither impacts the pH of the nutrient solution nor breaks down into soluble components that could harm your plants.

To prepare Rockwool for use, it is recommended to soak the cubes in a pH-adjusted, light nutrient solution for 24 hours, typically within the pH range of 5.2-6.
