Powerful EFR32MG21 Zigbee Chipset
The ZBDongle-E is built around the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 chipset and provides up to +20 dBm transmission power, helping deliver strong and reliable Zigbee communication. The aluminium housing also helps reduce electromagnetic interference.
Ready to Use
The ZBDongle-E comes pre-flashed with Zigbee coordinator firmware, allowing it to be used immediately as a Zigbee coordinator. SONOFF also provides tools for flashing alternative firmware, allowing the dongle to be configured for other applications such as a Zigbee router, Thread coordinator or multi-protocol coordinator.
Ideal for Home Assistant & Smart Growing
For a smart greenhouse or indoor growing setup, the ZBDongle-E can act as the central Zigbee coordinator for sensors and automation devices.
For example:
Temperature rises → Zigbee sensor detects it → Home Assistant responds → fan switches on.
Or:
Humidity drops → sensor detects it → humidifier is activated automatically.
This makes it an excellent foundation for local, automated environmental control.
