Bamboo fermented plant extract is a supercharged microbial inoculant and bio-stimulant created by fermenting freshly harvested bamboo shoots with our synergistic microbes.

Bamboo is known to be one of the fastest growing plants in the world growing as much as 1 meter in 24 hours. They are rich in nutrients, can improve soil conditions and process many medicinal properties.

The fermentation process makes nutrients and beneficial properties more accessible to plants. This can be achieved with most plant material.

Recipe is the same as for Alfalfa FPE

Recipe:
  • Material: EM-1
  • Blackstrap Molasses
  • Plant material
  • Water

5L of Activated EM (250ml EM-1, 250ml Blackstrap molasses,250-500ml plant material 4.5L water):

  1. Mix in all the ingredients in your container.
  2. Close the lid and add an airlock.
  3. Let it ferment for 3-5 days in a dark place.
  4. Using a pH meter or paper check that the pH is 3.6 or below, when it does, let it ferment for another 5-7 days.
  5. By the end you should have a sweet fermented smell very similar to the initial EM-1. Remove the airlock, strain the liquid and store in an airtight container at room temperature away from sunlight. Shelf life is 3-6 months
