Messenger Natural Plant Health Promoter and Growth Stimulator.
Messenger Natural Plant Health Promoter and Growth Stimulator.
Harpinαβ Protein. SOLD IN 15 gram bottles.
- Stimulates Root, Flower and Fruit growth.
- Improves disease resistance using natural chemical processes.
- Causes a systemic action within the plant, resulting in a full-plant response.
Plants develop receptors on their seeds, roots and foliage to detect the presence of Harpin Proteins which are produced in nature by certain bacterial plant pathogens. The presence of Harpin Proteins trigger an “early warning system” in the plant, activating its defense genes, boosting the plant’s disease resistance and stimulating accelerated growth.
1. RECEPTION
When Messenger is sprayed onto the plant, it binds to the natural Harpin receptors. These early-warning receptors react as if Messenger is a bacterial pathogen attacking the plant.
2. TRANSDUCTION
Within minutes, this stimulates the plant to activate its defense systems. Messenger amplifies the natural growth processes, resulting in increased nutrient uptake, photosynthesis, vigor and reproductive responses. The stress-defense response increases plant tolerance to stress caused by the environment, physiological shifts in plant growth and biological agents such as disease pathogens. Environmental stresses are drought, heat, hail, frost and flooding.
3. RESPONSE
These reactions activate both innate growth and stress-defense pathways within the plant, resulting in healthier, stronger crops that are characterized by better tolerance to stress conditions, better growth and increased production.
The effects of using Messenger Natural Plant Health Promoter and Growth Stimulator
Calcium levels outside the plant cell are typically 1000 times higher than inside the cell. Messenger can induce a calcium flux within minutes after application, allowing higher levels of calcium to flow
into the cell.
NORMALLY A PLANT ONLY INDUCES THIS RESPONSE WHEN UNDER ATTACK. MESSENGER IS UNIQUE IN ITS ABILITY TO ACTIVATE CALCIUM MOVEMENT.
The calcium content of the plant cell is separated into ‘free’ and ‘bound’ calcium. The concentration of cytosolic free calcium is maintained at low levels because of the signaling nature of calcium. Calcium is a macro-element nutrient; it can also be referred to as a plant hormone. Calcium works similarly to adrenaline in humans- it is held in low concentrations and only elevated when under attack.
Yield increases of 10-30% are possible
